Aw shucks, Thanks Cindy.

I am new to the quilting world approximately 4 years and have visited many shops in my quest for knowledge and they are all wonderful shops in their own way. The Waterwheel House Quilt shop is my favorite and their use of the phrase "Not your granny's quilt shop" is quite appropriate. When you walk into this shop you come alive due to the presentation of the bright, modern fabrics, the brigt lights and the new, fresh projects that are presented. It is so refreshing that you do not want to leave.

Only in today's world would someone take offense to a phrase like that and I guess that is what makes us special! Don't worry Waterwheel you have many loyal customers!!

I am a grandmother! Believe me, the phrase is meant to describe the fact that we don't sell calico cottons, we sell modern, contemporary fabric. We are a happy, lively shop with wonderful goods for all quilters that enjoy the whole world of sewing, crafting and quilting.
Turn that frown upside down.:)

I find the phrase - not your granny's quilt shop very offensive. I suppose you don't want grannys shopping there so believe me I won't be spending any money with you guys.
